Biographie

Noé P. est né en 1985 à Bruxelles. Issu de la troisième génération d’artistes du côté maternel, il baigne dès son plus jeune âge dans un univers créatif. Son grand-père a côtoyé Picasso, tandis que sa grand-mère a croisé la route de Jacques Brel, imprégnant ainsi son enfance d’une richesse artistique unique.Dès l’âge de 13 ans, Noé découvre le hip-hop et trouve sa vocation dans le graffiti. Il s’y consacre pleinement, explorant cet art jusqu’à en atteindre les limites. Ressentant le besoin d’aller plus loin, il se tourne vers la création de personnages issus de son imagination. Sans le savoir, il s’inspire de figures comme Keith Haring. À 16 ans, il réalise sa première toile, plongeant dans l’univers des cartoons, des comics et de ce qu’on appelle aujourd’hui le doodle art. Vers 20 ans, Noé intègre le réalisme à son travail, se concentrant sur des portraits, principalement de femmes et d’animaux, tout en continuant à faire évoluer ses personnages imaginaires, profondément ancrés dans la pop culture. À l’approche de la trentaine, il s’intéresse à l’abstraction et à l’approche de Picasso, ce qui donne naissance à un style unique. Ce dernier fusionne toutes ses influences : graffiti, doodle art, réalisme et abstraction se mêlent dans un trait spontané et distinctif. Noé privilégie l’instinct à la préparation minutieuse, laissant libre cours à sa créativité. Le trait et la couleur, au cœur de son univers, se déploient dans une palette vibrante et variée. Il explore une multitude de supports – papier, murs, chaussures, textiles, cailloux, céramiques – et personnalise chaque surface avec une exigence qui le pousse à se réinventer sans cesse.

Noé P. was born in 1985 in Brussels. Coming from the third generation of artists on the mother's side, he was immersed from an early age in a creative universe. His grandfather rubbed shoulders with Picasso, while his grandmother crossed paths with Jacques Brel, imbuing his childhood with a unique artistic richness.

From the age of 13, Noah discovered hip-hop and found his calling in graffiti. He devotes himself fully to it, exploring this art to the point of reaching its limits. Feeling the need to go further, he turns to creating characters from his imagination. Without knowing it, he was inspired by figures like Keith Haring. At 16, he made his first canvas, diving into the world of cartoons, comics and what is now called doodle art.

Around 20, Noah integrated realism into his work, focusing on portraits, mainly of women and animals, while continuing to evolve his imaginary characters, deeply rooted in pop culture. As he approached his thirties, he became interested in abstraction and Picasso's approach, which gave rise to a unique style. The latter merges all its influences: graffiti, doodle art, realism and abstraction mingle in a spontaneous and distinctive feature.

Noah favors instinct over careful preparation, giving free rein to his creativity. The line and the color, at the heart of his universe...
